Fujitsu General was proud to participate at the Sporting Chance celebrity golf day on Monday the 10th of October at The Lakes Golf Club Eastlakes.

The annual event was joined by more than 150 guests including numerous well known celebrities including including Cliff Lyons, Terry Lamb, Brett Kenny, Cooper Cronk, Benny Elias and Merv Hughes.

During the event, Business Manager Hovik Markarian presented Jack Hughes, executive director of the foundation, with a cheque for $463,209 which was the company’s annual donation to the Sporting Chance Cancer Foundation.

Fujitsu General's donations now pass a milestone of more than $10 million to the foundation, with a percentage of sales from Fujitsu’s air conditioning units going towards the funding of outreach programs and exploring better ways to treat and overcome cancer.
