Australia’s favourite air, Fujitsu General, continues to support and inspire young people aspiring to compete professionally in rugby in The Intrust Shute Shield.
The Intrust Super Shute Shield is the premier grade rugby trophy, whereby 12 clubs within New South Wales compete across four senior grades and three colts competitions.
Concluding each weekend match from 23 July to 6 August 2016, Fujitsu General presented a $500 cheque to the Man of the Match, and an additional $500 cheque to the players junior club .
Philip Perham, deputy managing director, Fujitsu General, commented: “Fujitsu General is delighted to be able to give back to the community at the grassroots level. By supporting The Intrust Super Shute Shield, we believe that providing today’s talented players with positive support can help shape a powerful future where each individual can achieve their dreams.”
Designed to help young players and their junior clubs flourish, the money would be used to fund new training gear and travel for away games.
Fujitsu General also supports Sporting Chance – a not for profit organisation committed to helping children in palliative care – and is a co-major partner of the Essendon Bombers AFL Club and the South Sydney Rabbitohs NRL Club.
